The Bachelor of Technology - B Tech degree prepares technical communicators to enter a fast-growing, rewarding professional career. PCE quality BTech Program is one of only a few in the Rajasthan located within an engineering College. Our strong technical grounding and real-world emphasis that combines theory with practice led our program to be selected by a group of Society for Technical Communication researchers as a model program.

BTech - Information Technology : (Seats - 60, Duration - 4 Years)

Computer science (or computing science) is the study and the science of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems. Computer science has many sub-fields; some emphasize the computation of specific results (such as computer graphics), while others relate to properties of computational problems (such as computational complexity theory). Still others focus on the challenges in implementing computations. For example, programming language theory studies approaches to describing computations, while computer programming applies specific programming languages to solve specific computational problems. A further subfield, human-computer interaction, focuses on the challenges in making computers and computations useful, usable and universally accessible to people.


COMPUTER CENTRE

The Institute .is equipped with the latest variety of computing equipments having over 250 Pentium IV Computers, Licensed version of LlNUX, WINDOWS, NT and WIN 2000 server operating systems with 15" colour monitor for better visibility. All the labs are airconditioned with 2 Mbps BSNL Broadband and unlimited Internet facility is available for students and faculty members.

 

 

The R & D Center

MAIIT, Jaipur has laid down the complete framework to harness the knowledge and efficiency of IT and S/W engineering. In this field the institute has established S/W development and Research Center called Research Center, which is working as an integral part of the organization. Research Center uses the skills of the students and faculties to solve the real world problems of the clients. It not only delivers the complete software solution but also provides consultancy on how the computers can benefit the business of the client economically and efficiently. We have state of the art computing facilities with latest technologies and infrastructure. The most important feature of the cell is that it incorporates all the ways to enhance the intellectual asset of the institution. This cell is mainly focusing on the development of research based tools and technologies for the people and organization working for the welfare of the nation and downtrodden communities

The Research Center works towards the fulfillment of the needs of the client by developing complete s/w solutions to his problems. The development procedure undergoes the s/w engineering strategies and methodologies. To ensure the quality of software Testing is done at various stages of development.
